Connect your bank with bLink
Soon, Mast will connect to bLink, the Swiss open banking platform run by SIX, to read your bank account and, later, to send your payments to your bank.
What Mast does
-
Your transactions, every day
Once your account is connected, Mast fetches its booked transactions by itself every day, and at any time with “Sync now”.
-
Your balance, up to date
Mast also reads the balance your bank reports, so your cash position stays current.
-
Ready to reconcile
Transactions arrive in Mast as bank transactions, and Mast proposes the invoices and bills they match. No more statement files to download and upload.
-
Your payments, released by you
Later, the payment runs you prepare in Mast will go to your bank through bLink. Your bank executes them only once you release them in your e-banking.
How you connect your bank
- You In Mast, choose “Connect your bank”, then your bank.
- Your bank Your bank’s e-banking opens. You sign in there, with your bank’s own security, and approve Mast’s access.
- You Back in Mast, you choose which accounts to sync.
- Mast Mast fetches their transactions and balance every day, and at any time with “Sync now”.
Mast never sees your e-banking login. The access token your bank issues is kept by SIX on Mast’s behalf (SIX’s Consent-as-a-Service), not by Mast.
Then, your payments
Payment runs you prepare in Mast, for example to pay supplier invoices, are sent to your bank through bLink. Nothing is paid until you release it in your e-banking.
- You In Mast, you prepare a payment run, for example for supplier invoices that are due.
- Mast Mast sends it to your bank through bLink.
- You In your e-banking, you release the payments.
- Your bank Your bank executes them, and Mast shows the status your bank reports.
