How does Mast organize work across multiple mandates?
Each mandate is a full set of books, and you reach them all from one workspace with a single login. You switch between clients in seconds and see every dossier exactly as the client sees it, live. Multi-entity structures are supported too.
How are permissions and roles handled per mandate?
Access is granted per mandate, with dedicated roles and granular permissions. For a client not yet on Mast, you create their account directly from the mandate. For a client already on Mast, you send an access request from the mandate that their administrator approves in one click, or they invite you themselves. Either way the client decides what you can see and post, and the audit trail records who did what.
How do our clients collaborate in Mast?
Your clients work in the same books you do: they issue invoices, capture receipts and follow their numbers while you handle the accounting. When a document is missing you send a request in the app, and the close is signed off together.
Is the accounting compliant with the Swiss Code of Obligations?
Yes. Mast applies double-entry bookkeeping in line with art. 957 ff. of the Swiss Code of Obligations, with a Swiss SME chart of accounts, full journals and a proper fiscal-year close. Posted entries are immutable: corrections go through reversals, and every step is recorded in the audit trail.
Can we migrate mandates from bexio, Abacus, WinBIZ, Banana or Crésus?
Yes. Mast takes over a mandate's data from these tools, and our team supports you throughout the takeover, including the full history when a mandate needs it.
Where is our clients' data hosted?
In Switzerland. Mast is built in Lausanne, certified swiss made software, and processes data in line with the FADP. Data remains exportable at any time, for you and for your clients.
